check out this beauty i dredged up yesterday - 22" with a guesstimate of around 6lbs - it had some serious heft. i also got a 17.5"er that was damn nice, and
Petito & Barry got allot of dandy 11-15"
ers and
Petito had a real trophy right up to the net when the knot busted......glory conditions, too. downright glassy at times.

this shows some of the mass of this fish - that's a 32 quart cooler! i had just said "man, we're DUE a 20+" trout this year! quite the fine day boating with guys
i've know for 20yrs. Steve.

Great fish Steve! Sounds like an awesome day. Where were you fishing?
uuuuuummmmm............within 80mi of flag at around 7000ft elevation.......
a 32 quart cooler and some PBR! Looks fun. How old is a fish that size?
yeah - it's about 8am, too!...good livin! i don't think fish this size are really that old - maybe 3-4yrs? the growth rate in this lake is phenominal, it's just brimming with shoals of minnows, sunfish, crawdads and bugs. Steve.
very healthy looking fish - the water up there must be pure as it gets. how'd you go with leverage pulling them in?
Yo, BVV - i do pretty good! not too wobbly - this is the 3rd biggest trout i've caught here & i did fall in when i caught the biggest - that's why i always wear my PFD in boats now.......Steve.
