Building along in February, notes on forks, waiting for bikes at paint.

I've just been working along, waiting for my 29er cruiser for E-Mark at Spectrum, and this bike which is at Ceramikote - y'all will be the first to see them when I get them, they will be beautiful!
This is a 650B for Steve C.

Getting there, I can still see a few blems.

Nice flow, all the radii are really coming together.

 Shiny and smooth!

All in all it came out to be a really beautiful frame, can't wait to see this one all built up.

I had a couple days where all my parts were not here so I worked on a project I have been meaning to get together - unicrown forks - I got my system down, and now you can order one to go with your existing frame order, $350.00 with your frame, whatever brake mounting system you desire.

 Tight!

Here I am working on a "29er Plus" which is a fancy way of saying 29x3.0" tire.
Also outside the "norm" with a 25 & 5/8" effective top tube length.

Above, if you get one from me it will have an 83mm bottombracket shell - it makes life SO much easier for both myself and the end user - tire clearance, chainring clearance, mud clearance, and your chain will not rub on your tire when you use your low gear, which you likely often will with over seven pounds of wheels to turn.
But, I bet on the beach or in epic washes this bike will rock, and will likely roll over anything on singletrack.

A clean mono-braze for the headtube, and below a finished unicrown.

A fuzzy photo of a cool disc mount, and below a custom cable guide.

And the brazed 29er+ for Tom F, going to get the seatstays on today, been battling a cold and doing much client interaction lately - working 10+ days straight, and then I'm taking off from Monday night to Friday night.

Working along, more soon!
- Steve.
