one of my true friends is gone.

i'll miss the hell out of our suzie kitty. she sure was cool, loving, beautiful and graceful. i wish more people were like she was.

we found suzie cat today. one of the assholes who are constantly ripping around behind our house on their motorcycles and atv's ran over, killed and left her. denise is crushed. i'm really, really sad. since my accident i seldom see many people, and there are people who were my long time friends who i have never seen again, or maybe a few times a year, and there are "friends" i only hear from when they want to save a few bucks on a chainring or a tire, but my critters are there for me all day, every day. we saved suzie from death at the pound super sick and almost dead so at least we feel like we gave her almost four quality years of life. she was always all over me, she always came when i whistled, and she slept under the sheets with me when it was cold. and, she was so graceful and beautiful. i miss her already. if you MUST ride those fucking noisy, dangerous off road vehicles at least try to watch what the hell out for what you are doing, slow the fuck down, and stay away from urban areas. i'd really appreciate it. who knows, you might save yourself from being the next one in a hole in the backyard, even if you don't care what you do to everything else. steve & denise.

a few years back we have one of our kits run over by some asshole in a car, to many people ether dont see or dont care, i dont know which is worse?

i know of some kids that have a similar problem with atv/dirtbike at bmx trail out in pa. that use
plywood with tons of screws in it as a problem solver (not saying this is the best idea but it worked for them)

Hey Steve and Denise, sorry to hear about Suzie. I remember her sleeping in the box by your door when I was over there last. She was a cool cat. Take care.

thanks, all. your comments mean allot. i keep looking for suzie and keep listening for her bells, and it's hard to accept that she's not going to come when i whistle. a sad day at the garro house. i feel bad for gus kitty, he's been with suzie since day 1 and we saw him licking the dirt where we buried her. breaks your heart. steve.

I still remember her beautiful eyes gazing me that made me happy...

It's so, so sad, now.

Hey Steve, I think I took a sweet photo of Suzie on top of the Subaru last time I was photographing you... check that disk I gave you. Losing a pet is really hard, especially this way.

Hey Steve, I'm crushed to hear of the loss of Suzie- she was a great cat. I have fond memories of sharing a pint of beer with her when you guys were away. She could really put em back! Seems to often we get news of another somebody getting hurt or killed when motors are involved. We gotta slow down and pay attention when operating vehicles huh? Brad

Steve and Denise,

Sorry for your loss, it's tough to lose a friend, whether it walks on two or four legs.

Suzie was an excellent snuggler, I'll miss the opportunity to have her sleep on my head again...she was quite talented at it :)

cheers,

rody

Steve & Denise,
Sorry about losing your buddy. I hate those ATV-things (and the water variants).
Take care.

condolences from the McDaniel home. Oso, Toolie, Shredder and i will remember her. i will especially remember her darting from furniture to furniture, keeping on the down-low as our 2 big strange dogs lounged around every time we made it out your way. even amidst big stranger dogs, she was kind and curious.

i wouldn't miss OHV in open space a bit if they suddenly didn't exist.

steve,
sorry to hear about your loss. it kills me to think about pets being victims of that kinda crap. karma is a crazy mfer and they will get what is coming. I think i will give our foxy an extra hug today.

take care,
simon

Man...really sorry to learn about your cat. Pets are definitely true friends and it sucks when they go. Really sucks when they are taken by some asshole not paying attention to anything except the throttle. I've had my good buddy cat for going on thirteen years now and used to fall asleep with him sucking on my earlobe. I don't know what it will be like when he is gone. I shouldn't even think about it. Total bummer, I'm really sorry she was stolen from you.

damn. we just got back from california and i was over the moon to go out on p-phone the cats first foray out into our back garden for awhile. ias much as i know cats need their space, i was worried i'd never see her again. she too comes when i whistle, and i can only shake my head when i think of how you must feel. take care...drjon/trina...hugs

I'm so sorry to read about Suzie--but like you said, you gave her a quality life for the time you guys had her. Not many people go to the pound and adopt the sick ones there...no wonder she was always all over you! That's kitty love.
